ABOUT US
Cajun Airlift, Inc. (CAL) was organized by a group of aviation enthusiasts out of New Orleans. The idea was originally developed to fill just a few airplanes with supplies and send to the Houston area, which was affected by Hurricane Harvey. We received an overwhelming response from volunteer pilots all over Louisiana and the surrounding areas. Cajun Airlift grew exponentially over those three weeks and flew approximately 25,000lbs of supplies to several cities in Texas following Hurricane Harvey - including Orange, Beaumont, Houston, Victoria, Lake Jackson and Rockport.
Our focus has expanded to not only support Gulf states after hurricanes but also the East coast. We have helped with hurricane recoveries from Harvey, Irma, Maria, Florence, and Michael. In 2019, we supported recovery efforts from the large tornadoes that hit Columbus, Mississippi, and Lee County, Alabama.
Cajun Airlift is in partnership with Baton Rouge Emergency Aid Coalition, Gulf Coast Disaster Relief, Physician Relief Network, Medical Disaster Response Network, Grass Roots Med Relief, and more.
